My understanding is that DWTS serves to humanize terrible people: Sean Spicer, Tucker Carlson, Mark Cuban, Adam Carrolla, Tom DeLay, Chad Ochocinco, Ryan Lochte, and Rick Perry.

The dichotomy between “haha who even is this person” jokes and serious, frequent discussion about reality TV stars is certainly... Something.

A few moments of grieving seems like a reasonable exception. And for what it’s worth, at least one person in that photo is wearing a mask.

when I first heard the news Naya Rivera was missing on a lake and they hadn’t found her after the first day, I think I knew it wouldn’t end well. But now that they’ve confirmed they’ve found her, I’m kinda shocked at how devastated I am, and it...I don’t know, I keep getting DOES NOT COMPUTE when I see everyone…

I... don’t even know how this must feel for the cast, let alone her family. Not withstanding the pedophile, this is still the 3rd death from the show. Right? I can’t tell if he’s fully leaned in to his troll status and that’s his thing to stay relevant or he’s just not terribly self-aware, but it’s definitely not the first time he’s shown his ass on Twitter (the Terry Crews thing comes to mind).

After watching Going Clear and hearing the stories of those close to him, I have nothing but compassion for him.  He gave his blind trust to a bunch of money-grubbing savages and now they are holding him hostage. So much tragedy for one man to endure.  

Like, this is the second significant other he’s lost to breast cancer. How the fuck does a man lose TWO loved ones to the same disease?

Sad news about Kelly Preston, but on the positive side, I was happy that most of the national news chains went or at least led with “Kelly Preston, Actress...”. Of course it’s pretty much a consistent shitshow on the local level, including seeing a headline consisting of just “John Travolta’s Wife Dies”.

I’ve said it on here before, and I’ll say it again: 50 Cent remains one of the dumbest, most trifling people I’ve ever met. In the nearly two years I worked as a designer for the G-Unit line, I was continually irritated by the stupid shit that fell out of his mouth. He's trash.
