Interesting. With the likes of this and the impressive-looking CryEngine 3 becoming available, perhaps the days of crappy PS3 ports might finally be numbered.

If you're a Twitter fan then I can see some appeal in being able to quickly check your updates whilst you're using a console. However, a big chunk of the people I follow use Twitter to say "go check out the awesome thing at this URL!" - which is why Twitter applications on the iPhone tend to have a built-in web

@IanC: You're missing Home, obviously. The better question would be whether or not you are missing anything that would be of value to you personally, and since I know very little about you, that's a tough call :)

@Hoytzilla: The poker is indeed good fun. I also like the gunner game in the Resistance 2 space, the bowling (great for meeting new friends list additions) and I'm quite partial to the Red Bull mini-game.

@Orionsaint: "I don't even notice the 360 has a HDD."

I don't mind the haters. Remember, Home is all the better thanks to the total absence of the sorts of people that can't understand why anyone would use Home :)

@tralfaz23: Do people still forget to use a capital letter at the start of a sentence?

Hmm, I'm not the worlds biggest fan of these types of games (I quite enjoyed Heavenly Sword, but I've never played a DMC or NG). That being the case I'll probably just wait for God of War 3 and know that I'm getting a game that is designed from the ground up for the PS3.

@RockyRan: They do sales quite regularly. These items were put on sale in the recent October 1st PSN update:

@ThursdayNext: Once it was actually installed onto your PS3 you probably wouldn't need to log into your US PSN account in order to play it. You would just need to access the US account initially in order to enter the download code.

@DunnCarnage: The PSN doesn't have a "stupid points system". Their prices are shown in actual real-word currencies rather than space marbles.

@ThursdayNext: If you could get hold of the code, and you'd created a US account on your PS3, then I don't see why not...

@ThursdayNext: That reminds me, though, I've still got my old PS1 copy of Metal Gear Solid. I should give it a whirl in my PS3 (I haven't tried any PS1 games in it yet).

@ThursdayNext: Nah, they thought of that. You have to have an Amazon billing address in the US.

Every country has a different take on what constitutes an acceptable level of sex and violence in a video game. In the US there seems to be no limit as to the amount of violence that is permissable whilst the slightest hint of sex (do you remember all the fuss over Mass Effect?) seems to be considered taboo. In Japan,

@ThursdayNext: Good question! I would suppose that she either improvised with square brackets, or that her "broken" shift key was unreliable rather than inoperable :)

@Shin-san: The PSEye, which is the device that Sony will be using with the "Sphere", is already on shelves. Only this game has been delayed, probably so that it can be specifically bundled with the Sphere.
