@mykalgaidin: A rather extreme view. In my opinion, Sony are in vastly better shape with the PS3 now than they were when I bought mine (a little over a year ago). As for reputation, I think their reputation in a lot of areas - such as build quality - is still very much assured.

@Gray665: Doesn't matter. PS3 offers a boatload of great and imaginatively varied exclusives, Blu-Ray movie capability, free online play and formidable reliability. It doesn't need to ever be as cheap as the 360. It is an extremely desirable piece of kit in it's own right. At the right price, it will sell just fine.

@DwarfyP: To quote Optimus Prime's opinion of the Dinobots, "That's the most retarded thing I've ever heard!"

@XperimntNterror: That sounds more like a Zoid. Was if definitely a Go Bot?

@DaftDethMonkey: The wands shown at E3 were still prototypes, so probably nothing is final just yet. Certainly the inclusion of an analogue stick (or at least analogue D-pad) would seem a sensible design.

@JamesKukuk: If someone can please finally make a decent lightsaber combat game, I'll stop making fun out of it and probably buy one. Can't afford the licence for making a Star Wars game? Well, I would imagine the Highlander licence would be a lot cheaper...

@djfakt: Did you just miss a Simpsons reference? I didn't think that was possible.

@phicaluk: Are you looking for another girl?

Looks like one of the Decepticons transforms into an SR71 (at 00:46).

@Everybody: You have all restored my faith in Kotaku's commentators :)

"Rare is recruiting designers. Excited by Natal? Got loads of cool new ideas? Great, because that elephant shadow stuff it's basically the best we could come up with" ;)

@excel_excel: Yeah, this is one of the reasons that I'm loving the new blog. We're finally getting some "straight-ish" answers to the sorts of questions that have been baffling us Euro PS3 owners for months.

@excel_excel: Actually, there are apparently legal problems with Silent Hill. Once again, I'll quote Mike Kebby from the official Euro Playstation Blog:

@BritBloke916: On the plus side, there's some new stuff in Home. The City Penthouse is pretty nice. I'm sure that the new Everybody's Golf area would also be worth a look if I didn't keep getting a "scene download error" when I try and go there.

Slim pickings indeed, but you've got to love the staff on the recently launched official Euro Playstation Blog for actually acknowledging the torrent of hate from pissed off European PS3 owners. When this was described by one commentator as "the worst update ever", the ever-reliable Mike Kebby responded:

@MasterNinja: Once upon a time, there were three Hostess Bars. The first Hostess Bar was too expensive. The second Hostess Bar was too skanky. But the third Hostess Bar was just right :)

Hmm, let's see now...
