Can we just stop with the tigers as pets already? Let's see, Sadam Hussain and Pablo Escobar are just some of the luminaries who have also "owned" these WILD animals.

ahh Pan Am. Worked for Sony TV at the time. She was memorable, and I'm a straight chick.

It's ruched.

You're so right on both counts. I too ended up adopting my guy one day when there was an adoption event on a street I was walking down. He was the runt in a litter of blue nose pit/american bulldog things. Boyfriend and I knew he was meant for us.

Here's the thing: In this new age of public reviews a la yelp, ripoff report, etc, reputations and businesses can be ruined. My old boss has seen her business decline by more than 50% this year because of a few bad reviews on yelp- never mind that there are four times as many positive reviews, but as a publicity firm

As much as I want to snark, this is a really sweet story. Sure, they're super wealthy and some of this reads like an insane fairy tale, but I think we can all relate to the "what if" of reconnecting with your first love. Mazel Tov, you crazy kids!

got it!

ok, started following you but need you to follow me in order to DM you- just did it, so you'll figure out what my twitter name is :)

Great! I was mentioning the story of finding your story to an exec who works at a well known production co that specializes in horror- he's intrigued, so I'm sending him your story. Is there an email form or addy on your blog so I can reach you?

@Sorcia- this is the scariest story I have ever heard, along with the likely backstory of the murderer.

Go for it- you'll never regret it!

Oh do I hear you on this. I was also in marketing at a large film studio before moving to a production company. In both positions, I saw realized that no one cared about qualifications as long as you were young, attractive, and well dressed. I literally took my birth date off of Facebook before my 30th bday because I

I do a lot of dog rescue volunteering/fostering- as Laura said, reach out to your local rescues and tell them what you're looking for- they might be able to pull a dog from a shelter that would be a great fit. You absolutely can find your perfect chihuahua pup- PLEASE do not get one from a breeder or store; there are

Jeez, so much hate for this movie. I loved it, and continue to watch it every time I need a little boost of happiness-as does my boss, a 40-something guy with kids (Production company, so we watch a lot of movies). Works better than my Lexapro does.

Butt plug...or giant KONG toy? The world will never know.

Seriously? This is blatant use of a sensationalized post title to drive views.

Mr. Scooch Peterson (see profile pic) is a very interesting mix of this theory. On one hand, he's super affectionate and will sit on me purring, staring at me and chirping for hours if I let him. He's unlike every other cat I've had in that way.

Every dog is different. Watch the Dog Whisperer and you will see vicious dogs of every breed. I am lucky that my Pit is the friendliest guy in the park because we socialized the hell out of him and he's "calm submissive" with dogs who are aggressive towards him. He was attacked by a Jack Russell who bit his face- my

agreed, but interestingly enough in Los Angeles, where I live, we also have an abundance of Chihuahuas in shelters- so much so that shelters here literally started shipping them to other states where the demand to adopt them was higher. In any case, it's a sad situation. I am lucky that my rescued pit has a great

Kudos for your volunteer work, but I think your comment is misinformed. You can make the argument that "irresponsible dog owners disproportionately own pit bulls" based on the dogs you see abandoned, but the main problem is that the general public still sees pits as "dangerous" dogs, hence why they're crowding the
