Your two examples don't support what you are trying to say. The sneaking suit is a sneaking suit as you said... And the naked part of Raiden wasn't just him trying to be naked, he escaped torture. Her clothes are just...her running around mostly naked for reason of merchandising really.

How are they jealous of his fame for giving criticism? That's like saying any criticism means a person is jealous of another. That is just silly if you read any review and form an opinion on it. If it is a opinion against do to criticism, then you are just jealous but you are okay if you agree.

Doom 2 is still played. Heck... People are modding the crap out of it still. Just look at programs like Zandronum. People still play it online. GoG also shows what can be done with old games. PC is the platform that games can still survive on for a long time.
