The Earth Starship landings involve the bellyflop, which seems to be the major sticking point in testing right now. (It adds turbulence to the fuel tank, but maximizes the aerodynamic braking.) A moon landing will not have the bellyflop, it will be entirely tail-first like the current F9 landings.

We’ve been watching season 2 on Disney Now, but it will be good to finally have both seasons in the same place. I wish they would release to Plus at the same time. (Disney Now gets a few new episodes per week, probably 6 months after they first air in Australia.)

Maybe if they had wall phones that could be used in emergencies. Not specifically for a shooter, but maybe a medical emergency, you need some way to quickly reach the outside world.

Same thing happened when station wagons were pushed out by the CAFE standards. For a long time, they couldn’t meet the standards of the car category, but Suburbans, Explorers, and Expeditions fit the truck category, so multi-child families migrated to the larger vehicles. Eventually tech improved so smaller crossovers

Anyone have ideas to keep clothes soft without dryer sheets, since I’m apparently allergic to them?

He wasn’t even parked, he was just driving down the street. (One of the vids shows him pass the C&C driveway before the Hellcat pulls out.)

The ban was because they didn’t agree to the license fees, and they were outside a jurisdiction that could impose them directly. Sometimes the tools are limited.

How would we enforce traffic laws without a stop?

I kinda get what you’re saying, but most monitors don’t have dedicated blue diodes. (Unless they are AMOLED on a smartphone.) So all the monitor could do is reduce the blue channel in the LCD, which is the same as having the software reduce the blue channel. (And if it is AMOLED, then the software can also directly

This is one reason to use credit cards instead of debit cards. When there is fraud, the bank can’t take your money. You don’t have to wait months for them to investigate it.

They might have if Steve didn’t return the stones. And Peggy’s husband was never revealed in the earlier MCU, it might have been Steve all along.

International treaty, and US law, provides that the ownership of the vehicle does not change just because it landed on someone’s property. It also provides that the owner is responsible for any damage it caused.

Not understanding the ramifications of your invention is bad, but not evil. Intent (or a complete lack of care,) is a necessary component of evil. Mere ignorance doesn’t reach that bar.

When the light is against it, the emergency vehicle can not assume that everybody in the cross traffic can see it, especially if there are visual barriers such as the Milky’s photo shows. (above)

Here’s hoping that  Shaken/Stir will help stem the tide. The FCC gave a deadline of June 2021 for major carriers to get onboard, with rural carriers following next year. Once that is done, then we can finally block the spam calls that spoof/falsify the phone number.

You can also change the “Night Light” setting in Windows 10, no special glasses needed. There’s an option to set it automatically when you want to start winding down for bedtime.

Perhaps, but at least the manufacturer shouldn’t have to worry about a warranty claim at that point. Once you start JB welding it, you hopefully take full liability for it.

Yeah, I didn’t get why the author thought it was “ironic.” If you take a wheel out of service due to a known defect, you don’t want somebody who takes it off the scrapheap to think it might still be good. (Or even worse, have it show up for repair a second time in some kind of fraud.)

Yup, I can’t imagine doing a Zoom call with that tiny back screen.

The 10x zoom camera on the Samsung is only 10MP.
