Stage Rally hands down.

Is 30 seconds of your time too much to ask to read the article and know it happened during the standing start of the race? ;-)

Vintage Racing! Open pits and paddock, great tracks, great cars, and over all a great weekend!

Second that!

I second this. At first it seems silly, because you watch a car, then wait a minute, then watch a car, and so on. But the fun in spectating a rally isn’t really the cars. It’s the transit from stage to stage. You have to beat the rally to its next spectator area. This means a great deal of spirited driving with other

I didn’t see that you beat me to it, so I’m piggy-backing on yours. But this was my suggestion:

Any major SCCA Regional race. Real racing by real (and really good) drivers. Usually something verging on a county-fair atmosphere. Inexpensive tickets, a dazzling variety of classes, the real risk that participation is a contagious disease with a one-winter incubation period.

I like to consider myself something of a “professional spectator”

So Joe, I know you prefer screaming chickens and all but I think you will agree the ass and hips on the new Stringray are more conducive to plowing the tail pipe. If you know what I mean. wink wink

Maybe he’s born with it. Maybe it’s Fester Adams.

Am I the only one who hate’s these ugly behemoths? I don’t care what their capable of, their atrociously offensive looking and the size of a Rolls Royce.

Oh, that makes me chuckle, noting the dealer.

Man, you caught me. I just really wanted to impress you guys.

True story, I bought my GT-R for under MSRP in 2010 (something in the 70’s), and traded it in THREE YEARS LATER with 26k miles for just about 70.

I just can’t get over how fucking stupid these cars look with their painted-on taillights and exhaust pipes.

It's missing a pedal...

Ironically, I’d consider paying asking price if this looked visually closer To stock. The cosmetic body mods look too low-rent for the work done to the car. Needs to be a sleeper.
