I did read your link. I don't believe the free rider concept applies here because roads are supported largely through taxation. Since people pays taxes, not cars or bikes, people get to use the roads. Taking your argument to extremes would mean that pedestrians should be licensed because they walk across roads or use

I have five cars street cars, some of which get ridiculously poor fuel mileage. Most cyclists also have cars, in fact I can't think of a single cyclist here in Seattle who is car free.

That's my point. We need to take a step back from the "war on cars" argument and focus on moving people as efficiently as possible. More people on bikes is a good thing. It gives me more room when I'm driving.

I'm all for separate car lanes. Car drivers are simply not responsible enough to know and follow the rules of the road. (All car operators speed and roll stop signs).

I'm thinking more in terms of how easily repaired the NA is due to bolt on cheap fenders and such. Will the ND be as crash fixable?

As the Miata is the most raced car in the world, what design considerations were made in support of the racebility of the car?

That is a screaming deal.

Get info on the new Jackson Racing Rotrex supercharger kits! I've got the built engine, now I need to force induct the sanity out of it. Also mail me a Jalop sticker for my girly Miata.

I agree that the NA cars have aged quite well. I think the NBs need another decade before they grow into their oldness. The Mazdaspeed NBs have always looked a little fiddly to me; too much tupperware glued to them.

Today the ND Miata debuts and today is also the day my beloved NA begins its restoration.

Great swap, but I can't get over the price.

I'd have one of these in a heartbeat. Maybe when I eventually turn the P71 into a LeMons car.

It's always fun having more power than available traction.

I can afford an F-type, but don't see myself buying one. I'd rather spend the money racing. Maybe if I get feeble and can't drive my Healey anymore. That would be a good deal, except the F-type doesn't sound as nice and would be a depreciating asset. And I'd look like "that guy". Thank God I still have my hair.

With the tent! Best in Show!

This has been a wildly successful fundraising campaign for ALS research. ALS, aka Lou Gehrig's disease, is awful. Seriously, you don't want to get it.

That car is beautiful beyond my ability to describe. Do you have a shot of the profile or back of the car?

So jealous. Does it get attention? How many whiplash inducing double takes have you gotten. Were I to see one drive by I think I'd start running down the street screaming and waving my arms over my head.

Another Torchrific article. Safe travels and keep the roving bands of Oklahoman Huguenots at bay.

Excellent article.
