I always forget about the frunk on these cars. That makes the Cayman Costco-worthy. I'm going to have to check one out when it's time to replace the Abarth.

That is a lovely blue. Both are wonderful cars, I'm sure.

Wonder if they'd take my Big Healey on trade?

Awesome! Cars like this are like pets. You wouldn't give up on Ol' Yeller would you? Hell No! Keep fixing that Baja until there's nothing left to fix. Then go drive the hell out of it until shit breaks and fix it again.

Ah, I see your point and agree with your thesis.

I disagree. A light sports car just doesn't need power steering.

I really like the i8. This car and the i3 have hit me from out of nowhere. They are really compelling products. Well done BMW. Wish I could afford an i8, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

Don't call them Abarth's what?

In the late 90s I was President of the Western Washington Sports Car Council. The WWSCC organizes autocrosses among the member clubs.

Oh you and your reality getting in the way of my easily quantified magazine statistics.

That just looks painfully awkward.

It makes me insanely happy that the Healey has been Simponsized.

A310, good choice. I too have a soft spot for these types of cars. I think a PRV v6 motivated A310 would be a fun weekend car.

I just saw a Peugeot 405 Mi16 last night.

Better have Gawker Media buy you a spare. You'll need to record on video the start up sequences of some of those Bugattis.

My wife drives the Healey, but prefers to be a passenger. The transmission can be a bit balky at stoplights. The solution to that is to just start off in whatever gear is available; the car is as happy to start in 2nd as it is in 1st. A Healey is so torquey that on flat ground, 3rd turns the car into almost an

My God. I am so jealous of you. I've always wanted to go to Goodwood, this gathering of cars is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

My Healey is quite brutish to drive and with its Monza exhaust has a muscular roar. That said, I always refer to it with feminine pronouns. I shall now think of it as a girly car. I can't think of a single woman who doesn't love the old girl.

Holy crap! That's what that cloud of smoke was from. I'm about 10 blocks away and noticed the smoke. Horrible for the friends, family, and colleagues of all involved.

Uh... Oops.
