Well done.
Well done.
Beaters are the best cars. My first car was a Butt Turrible '74 Celica that I bought for $450. I loved that car. I'd have another in a heartbeat; only this time I'd do right by it and give it the 18RG it derserves.
Great story, "Golden Bandit".
Best ASCII comic evar.
Sure, it's a cool car. But it's the Miata of classic cars. Dr. Phil is stupid rich, he has the money to get something interesting. If I were Dr. Phil rich, my Big Healey would have a LeMans spec engine. I'd also have a luxurious Lancia for tooling around town, or maybe a Packard.
He installed wood. [ButtHead] Uh huhuhuhuh [/Butthead]
Partial hipster is less than true hipster who knows the proper spelling of Apple ][.
I call it "needless distraction that makes the profile less elegant". Or "Useless garbage" for short.
Thanks! No worries if he's not into it. We've got some readers really into old Japanese cars.
Cool car. Do you know the guy with the old Civic wagon with what looks like a turbo B16 in it? I'd like to write a feature on it. I've got Street Parked-worthy pictures but think that car deserves more than being lumped in with the Street Parked cars (list below - some cool, some uh... interesting).
Shirtless tattooed protagonist is believable and owns his part. The truck isn't selling its performance; too much axle hop belies the hapless vehicle's self-doubt.
I walk by the Tesla Seattle Service Center a couple of times a day. They have an enclosed trailer they use to retrieve cars - some of which have out of state plates. They also have a service van that I only ever see in the morning; I assume it's the "Mobile Command Center" for the techs.
He was responsible for the design of Nikon's cameras. After 50,000 or so snaps, my old D80 is as handsome as ever.
I love my Abarth. Something so fun should not be accessible so cheaply.
Give that Cheese Eating Surrender Monkey the white flag of valor and the proper tail and he's ready for LeMons!
I'm curious to drive it. My 500 Abarth is a blast to drive. Even a normal "Sport" 500 is fun to drive. I suspect the 500L will offer a similar level of "Slow car fast" thrills.
Love it! I've seen a couple of the larger engined ones in the neighborhood. Beautiful cars. Ignore the blue and white heap in the foreground of this picture
That little engine would be great powering the rear wheels of my Abarth 500. Twin turbo 2.4 liter 7 cylinder? That would be nice.
Happy Birthday. That looks like insane levels of fun.
Any chance of getting Bill Caswell in the Small Car? He's not a Big Star, but he's hugely awesome.
