Fiat Vehicross?

@Elhigh: Emcee: "Would the real Davey Jones please stand up?"

Give me the simplicity and nimbleness of a light car any day of the week. I contend it is more fun to row through the gears, redlining each one, getting on the freeway than it is to mash the throttle and be there without shifting out of second.

@Nurburgringer: How can I have not heart clickied you before? That transgression has been remedied.

@geistkoenig: Only until you've driven a 1300 Gt Jr. Same gorgeous body, with less soul-robbing displacement. I drove a 1300 with dual Webers and can not politely describe how much fun it was caning that thing at legal speeds.

@Chairman Kaga: Heart Clicky for eloquently describing the zeitgeist of momentum management!

@Fordboy357: Agreed, hands down, the best car of the 90s is the Miata.

For outstanding service to the passions of all motorheads through an incredible tribute to one deserving gentleman, I nominate Jamey Leckner to the Jalopnik Hall of Fame.

Well done. A tribute to the Bimmer bread and butter car that set the standard by which all its contemporaries failed to measure.

Good luck Mr. Bleier! Keep painting and kick your cancer's ass.

The new Cayenne: responsible for mangling 200 feet of armco in off-track agricultural expeditions.

@mclaren: LeMons is the greatest collection of automotive cheatosity and creativity ever seen (by me).

Sadly, probably a Prius.

@BrtStlnd: Looks like the 'Capo 384' edition to me.

@layabout: They also got the Alfa GTV6 with the 3 litre, while the rest of us had to make due with the 2.5.

In 1986 I was on my way to watch the IMSA California GT race at Sears Point. The route from the East Bay to Sears Point, highway 37, is a little two lane affair that skirts the tide flats on the north end of the Bay. It would get slow even on normal work days. On this day, the traffic gods decided to smite race

@Roberto G.: Someone piss on your lunch today? I can completely believe he rescued that Corvette from the diapers and display crowd. Too many cool cars are kept as static display pieces.

Healey 100 please!

@Gothmog3VZ: Sadly he'll probably keep his ticket. However, that sort of irresponsibility (low fly-by over people infested runway) is deserving of an ass kicking.
