There’s debate to be had, but there’s no doubt that these are extremely high quality games with dozens-to-hundreds of hours of gameplay. For $80, that’s a pretty incredible value

Super Metroid. Zelda: Link to the Past. Super Mario World. Yoshi’s Island. Earthbound. Donkey Kong Country. Kirby Super Star. Mega Man X. Super Mario RPG. A lot of fans would agree that these games were the pinnacle of their respective franchises.

There’s an assumption made here that classic games are only appealing because they’re nostalgic; that modern games are superior. And you’d be right about some of them; however the Classic SNES in particular is packed with games that are better than most of the games coming out today. Nostalgia goggles not required.

Normally I’d agree with you, but Star Wars Rebels has proven otherwise. Sure, most of the characters are new, but we’d expect the stakes to be low given that is it a prequel; somehow they’ve managed to turn it into the greatest Star Wars side-story since Dark Forces.

Daniel Craig is going to age out of the part shortly, and he’s been phenomenally successful in the role, both critically and commercially. There’s less risk going with a proven winner, and if there’s one thing Hollywood hates, it’s risk.

It has been well over a year, and neither of them are exactly young anymore. Waiting for the sake of waiting seems silly, if the relationship is at the right point.
