I’m pretty sure the real takeaway - “exposure is super important, don’t mess it up.” Some of these are tolerable, but for the most part they’re pretty terrible. Particularly the car.

Is it just me, or does this advice seem unethical? Are we really advocating that people go buy a car that outputs an illegal amount of smog that is harmful to humans and the environment? If you bought it in good faith thinking it was clean, that’s one thing. If you’re buying it now for cheap, you’re kind of a dick.

There were individuals within this movement recently advocating violence against police. I don’t see how that’s particularly different than some of the heated rhetoric from the Tea Party, and the left wanted to label them a hate group. Seems like a double standard.

As someone who worked in electronics /video games at Walmart for a year, department stores are not daycares. Parents would routinely drop off wild and unruly children to play in our area, which led to disruptions for other shoppers and employees trying to do their jobs.

Modern GPS systems are acurate on drones to within a few feet- which is why they can use GPS to navigate, as well as hold position regardless of wind, etc.

Totally agreed. Bizarre. Pork tenderloin sandwich is the obvious choice. I have never heard of lemon rice soup.

Same here. I eat at a whole lot of restaurants, all over the state, and I have never seen that dish once. Pork tenderloin sandwich is the obvious answer to me.

FPV flying is absolutely an out-of-body experience, particularly when using higher-resolution goggles.

You would think so, but it's a testament to just how poor the included Tx is that the FPV range goes much further. We tested it at the local hobby shop, we couldn't get more than 40 meters away before the connection was lost, and the Nano QX FPV dropped out of the sky. The DX6 completely resolved the issue. I think as

The transmitter that comes in the RTF version of the Nano QX FPV is garbage- it will cut out long before the FPV range does. Switching to a DX6 vastly increased the distance I could fly. In fact, I've never had it lose a connection.

They will. DJI is good about replacements if you have evidence of what occurred.

Fly-aways can happen. These are complicated machines with an array of sensors that can have problems. That said, many of these "fly-aways" are pilot error- poor maintenance, lack of calibration, excessive altitude/distance, etc. We've never experienced a fly-away on any of our aircraft, and we have hundreds of flights

Even then, there are questions about the FAA's authority to regulate aircraft under a certain height and size. This issue is not at all clear cut, and the legal situation is constantly evolving.

Ah, to be a middle schooler again... This is pretty bad. We were working on a project for school that involved putting together a tiny city. While rummaging through the trash and breaking things down to use, I accidentally shattered a glass Orangina bottle. As we picked up the broken glass, I turned to my partner and

I think that is an important point- drones are "not" easy to fly. If you rely on GPS and intelligent orientation, you're going to have a bad time. This is why if you google "dji flyaway", you'll see that people who don't know what they are doing, or who rely on those systems, end up losing their multirotors. On the

Drone operators fly below 150 meters, and far away from airports. While drones use some new technologies, private citizens have been flying model aircraft for the better part of a century, and there have not been any problems with collisions with airplanes.

I feel the same way as Ghost. I love the Elder Scrolls games, and I thought I would love Fallout 3, but the bleakness of the setting was off-putting to me. I never really made it past the first village area. I had the same issue with the Stalker games. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Fallout 3 is a great game, but I

Burnout 3 was excellent as well, I didn't care as much for Revenge. That said, the amount of replayability in Paradise is unmatched. It's just inherent in the open world design, and in the ridiculous amount of awesome DLC that Criterion released for it.

Burnout Paradise- best racing game ever. I have spent so many hours with that game, it's silly.
