Spectacular. Absolutely spectacular. I just hope the finale is as good as this episode (aka Part 1) is. I know parts of fandom are gnashing their teeth, but me? I loved and was riveted by every aspect of this story. And the revelation? Wonderful. A bit predictable? But I thought it was wonderfully pulled off.

Kudos to the casting here as Michelle Gomez is just wonderful and the idea of the Master as an evil Mary Poppins is inspired.
