All I was pointing out is that Fisher wasn't exactly innocent either when it came to that whole Martin affair. My personal view is all these big time basketball and football coaches are scumbags and it's just to what degree we're talking about. As for Fisher, it's truly amazing what's he's done. I remember his

Likewise I once went to a game at Hoover High in San Diego. Chase Budinger was in that game for a visiting school. Now the audience was mostly black, no one knew Chase was a pretty good talent and had a 42in vertical. Well anyways Chase starts busting some mad white flight and the folks are just losing their shit,

This kid was lost well before he got to UNC. I'm torn because he probably shouldn't be in college, but it isn't right to stop educating him either because he obviously needs it.

I think it is a mistake to say that an athlete's college educations is "something many of them don't want, need, or qualify for." There is a small percentage of NCAA athlete's that don't need a college education. For the rest, an education is something that they are explicitly and implicitly told they don't need,

You can tell these kids, even at a high level, still have much to learn.

I'm a Native American who has seen firsthand how bad life is on reservations. His money is more useful than white people with guilt problems writing articles and not doing anything of value. You're correct.

Well as long as you're the one making up the rules here and declaring what's racist and what isn't. Anyone opposing you is wrong, of course. Not like there isn't a noticeable amount of grey area in the debate but let's pretend it doesn't exist.

Forcing a player in ANY sport (yes, even football) to go to college is absurdly ridiculous. If an NFL team wants to spend a draft pick on a prospect out of high school, LET THEM (it will never happen, and that player would never play, but that's regardless).

Research how many different teams have won the NBA championship since the merger then ask if the NBA ever had any illusion of "parity".

Well, the NBA is a turrible product right now. How many teams have a chance at winning the title? 4? Beyond that, the narrative is "how many games can you lose."

you sound like a real peach.

I had to go back and look at the grin. That was great

Like all good mall cops/ TV guards you could see that he spotted the oncoming danger right away, braced himself for it, and then turned away protecting himself from it while smiling. Pure awesomeness.

That grin by the security guard in the background is fucking priceless.

Okay, take these odds as the "real" odds of a team winning the game.

It's bewildering to think that an actual conversation was had in which all of this was set up, and everyone involved was somehow convinced that the final product was a cool thing that needed to be posted on Instagram. Just, like, negative levels of self-awareness going on here.

You guys still haven't mentioned what Wichita State is doing but you post this? KU has EIGHT losses, allowed WV to post 75 points with 9 minutes remaining, got down by 25, was out of timeouts with 17 minutes left....you're shit

But, being serious, the premise of this article, to me at least, is flawed. And yes, I realize the hook is firmly in my cheek, but still.

This is exactly why I can't stand college football. Refuse to watch it. The route running? Puhlease. Watching a far superior Jaguars/Browns game in December is where you'll find me.

If a player is more efficient in his route running, he's going to be able to get to some balls that a less efficient player might not.
