So, what was the school administrator’s speech, and why did they want the young man to read it?

I suppose that you could do similar scanning and ordering with a smartphone app, but the Dash Wand looks easy and fun to use. I’m going to give it a try.

All I’m saying is, Han Solo better shoot first.
RE: But does his character have a journey of growth that makes us root for him?
Let’s see. Apple and Spotify are generating $7 billion in revenue from streaming services. So, Taylor Swift’s $170 million would be about 2.43 percent of that total.
I don’t know if this applies to the UK as well as the US, but here’s something to think about, from a recent study of organic farming.
Fortunately, people posting here have been respectful and have often raised good points. And the article by Libby Watson is a thoughtful and well written piece about the importance of verifying health claims about supposedly great, healthy or useful products (and foods), and leads to other worthwhile considerations.
RE: But it is healthier for you, simply because it doesn’t have a bunch of chemical pesticides or fertilizers on it.
Yep. They’re organic, too.
In the US products labeled as “100% organic” must contain only organically produced ingredients and processing aids, excluding water and salt. No other ingredients or additives are permitted.
In an article in “Scientific American” published in 2012, author Christie Wilcox noted studies that concluded that “organic” pesticides were no better, and sometimes worse than synthetic pesticides. The gold standard might be food produced without any pesticides at all, but I wonder how much more expensive these…
Fair point. However, “Suicide Squad” is a crappy movie. If I were running DC, I would include another DC hero (or possibly villain) in the “Wonder Woman” sequel to juice up the potential box office. But the DC films need the heart and skill of Jenkins and others like her.
This is great stuff. Does this also push back the time when archaic humans and Neandertals split? This may also complicate estimates of when early modern humans moved out (and maybe back into) Africa.
Claims that “organic” products provide superior nutrition or are healthier for you are unfounded. But these products are often more expensive than “non-organic” products.
I believe that climate change is real, too. Silly me.
Hollywood is such a strange place. In a sane universe, the studios would be falling all over themselves to have Jenkins direct a sequel, maybe even craft a Wonder Woman trilogy, like the Christopher Nolan Dark Knight saga. Instead, I’ve read crap that tries to demote Jenkins to little more than a director-for-hire…
Elephant in the room: ALL “organic,” “holistic,” “non-traditional,” “alternative medicine” products are bullshit, not just those targeted to women. And foolish and gullible people spend billions on this crap, while defenders of this nonsense rail against “Big Pharma.”
Put me down on the list of those who say that Chopra would be a very cool choice. She’s already shown that she can handle the physical demands of the role.
Actually, Bruce Wayne chooses to be Batman. It’s not a way to channel his neuroses. And “Man of Steel” makes a good case for Clark Kent choosing to become Superman, that is, choosing to use his powers for good. However, “Wonder Woman” is refreshing in that there is less angst over Diana’s choice. However, one fun…
“Wonder Woman” also borrows much from the Christopher Reeve “Superman” movies, which still put much of the Marvel stuff to shame. But the larger point is not where you borrow, but how you mix the ingredients. And “Wonder Woman” does this very well.
