I will definitely give this show a look. But a few quibbles.

You grew up with propaganda and lies, and now you can’t deal with it.
Actually, I think this would be fine for an alternate universe set of stories. But I think for many fans, they prefer a Lois and Clark pairing because it represents more of a commitment by Superman to the world of mortals.
Yep, it was an audacious move to turn the ending of Aliens into a failure, but it didn’t work.
It’s a bit odd to say that the movie was dumb just because characters in the film did something that was plausibly dumb. They way the Colonial Marines were outwitted by the aliens made this sequence terrifying.
The funny thing is that Alien didn’t even need a sequel, until Aliens came along. James Cameron turned out to be the perfect director to continue the film series. The studio wanted a sequel, but Cameron was able to recognize that Ripley was a cipher in the first film, the last survivor. This allowed him an…
How many washings can this fabric survive?
Oddly enough, I have no problems with waiting for the actual movie to come out. None.
To hell with this selfish woman. I don’t give a shit that she is from an HBCU. She is a selfish idiot. However, I do wish her well with her future job in the Trump administration.
We’re talking comics. Comics, like movies, have a lot of creators who were Jewish. But they could never make a super hero specifically Jewish because racist white fools would not buy the comics or watch the movie. Hell, many Jewish comic creators changed their names so that the white majority would find their work…
Hmmm. You keep stepping in it. Again, the fact is that the world is diverse. And the sad fact is that comics companies had to deny the fact of the diversity of the world to satisfy racists and childish fools. Comic book characters have been around long enough to be redefined multiple times over.
I’m not a game player. However, 4 coworkers (3 men, 1 woman) love the Switch and take it everywhere they go. They absolutely love the portability of the device.
There is a very thin line between fantasy and propaganda in comics and fiction. In the past, comics were deliberately exclusionary, which is its own propaganda.
As someone who loved the adventures of the Doctor and Clara, I would say, yes.
Agree that sweeping Bill and the Doctor into the intensity of this episode really worked. The revelation that the Doctor is not an invulnerable Superman was very well done.
The country and the world are diverse. You have to ask what some comic fans are afraid of when they want a fantasy universe that doesn’t reflect reality.
I agree that it was disappointing. I’m surprised that the studio approved this continuation of such a flat, nothing story. Ah, worldwide gross was $400 million. Yeah, that’s guaranteed sequel territory.
Problem is, “Prometheus” did not improve on either “Alien” or “2001.” The problem wasn’t the scope of the plot. “Prometheus” told a story that really didn’t need telling, and it told it poorly, aside from the visuals.
