The Civic isn’t nearly 30K, it starts at $18,600. The loaded Civic Touring model starts at $26,500. Quite a range of models actually.

Yes,and the buyer of this car would be cross shopping it with a loaded Impreza 2.0i Limited 4-door. Which is guess what......$26,000+
I just noticed that! Which next year will be a Toyota since Scion is dead.
It’s a sedan so you get the Auris instead. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_MC…
But then I’d have to drive a shitty Chevy.
How about a Trax AWD vs a Trax FWD?
I complain because there are not AWD versions of the sedans or wagons of these cars, but instead we get top heavy CUVs based on the hatchback version. This is coming from a guy with a Honda Pilot who lives in a rural badly plowed area. When will be able to just get AWD in a “car” without buying a Subaru or Audi? Do…
Depends, is it a pressure switch or mechanical on the brake pedal?
RasPlex was already decent on the Pi 2 for streaming content from your local network. I imagine it’s just a bit less laggy on the 3.
According to anyone who uses one: “Magic”
Those “hoses” are electrical cables, you can see the contact points inside the housing without the cover, which also shows those other two inlet/outlet connections that I’d bet are for coolant.
Yeah, but get marketing involved and suddenly an AC:DC->DC:AC device is called an inverter when it’s actual name is a variable frequency drive.
Some people, like myself, just don’t like convertibles.
Are you trying to make people throw up? I just had lunch damn it.
Yep, Portal Axles are driveline gear reductions like planetary gear reduction wheel ends. The concept is that you can use smaller propshafts at higher RPMs throughout your driveline since the torque is lower. Then reduce down at the wheel ends. Unsprung weight is not as big of an issue on a vehicle with 300# tires,…
But maybe...
That’s Ford for you. I can’t believe companies think using the screen for HVAC is a good idea. VW has the idea right, HVAC buttons/knobs, Volume dial-on/off and then you can use the screen for any additional features.
I suspect that’s regional. Sometimes I get packages on Sunday when ordering on Friday night. It might be coming from the distribution center 30 miles from my house.
My rule of thumb on Honda is buy nothing less than EX or EX-L. And don’t take the hit yourself, you can buy them used in great shape. I did that with a 2009 Pilot EX-L in 2012. Nearly no miles, excellent shape. LX and DX are decontented pieces of shit.
You can probably swap them for the other type, from what I’ve seen they’re usually tethered, but not “fastened” to the seat.
