Speed limit on that road is 45 (you can see the sign ironically knocked down my the GT in the CNN vid), so lets say he was doing 5-10 over as most people do.... I can see that kind of damage happening when hitting that many stationary hard objects.

THE OLD CAR DIDN'T DO 4.7 - PEOPLE NEED TO STOP SAYING THIS.
I rarely use my AC. Even in the middle of summer (in SE PA), it's cool enough in morning for windows open on my way to work (if not doors off top down) and I don't really care about a little sweat on the way home. The only time I really use it is when it is raining
I used to feel this way until I became a parent. Let me tell you, for a majority of parents, NO ONE want the kid to behave/be quiet/be asleep more than said parents. Unfotunately there are a good number of parent who are either assholes, or are just too exhausted to give a shit that let their brood annoy the hell out…
I don't use cruise control. Congrats on COTD/TOTD
Well another reason Subaru sells is because people dont want all that technology shoved down their throats.
After reading your response to this article, it occurred to me that I am quite possibly the same kind of "n00B poseur" that you are referring to. I mean shit, I'm almost 30, have owned four cars and worked on many more, but I apparently do not fit the criteria to be a car enthusiast or, even someone who should have…
haha, you're definitely not wrong that I haven't driven that many cars and have only had one with my name on the title for ten months.
Aw, I like the philly airport. Sure it's a long trek but the new terminals are pretty awesome!
You can mitigate this issue by not buying a direct injected vehicle.
I started setting the parking brake when I first learned to drive in the family Taurus. You put the car in park, it rolls a but, and it just FEELS like it's bad for the transmission. That was always my reasoning. Then I started driving manual cars and it wasn't an option.
could this be it? http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/407217… it sure looks similar. Can't tell if the windscreen is cracked, but the car is dirty. It's in Morgan Hill so its a pretty big coincidence if it's not.
License plate readers, traffic cameras, speed cameras, stoplight cameras, cameras in the air, cameras everywhere. This is what's ticking me off about this whole thing.
