I work for the federal gov’t of Canada. We received a counterfeit $10 bill that came from an employee. Do you know what we did about it? Nothing. We presumed it wasn’t the employee’s fault and we reported it to the bank.

Haha - I am actually an anglophone raised bilingually thanks to francophone grandparents. But yes - it’s a big province though (bigger than many countries) and there are multiple accents. That said, from a linguist standpoint Quebec French is more historically pure than what Parisian French has evolved into... lol.
