Was this at recess or gym class? Either way if her child has a known medical condition the teachers should have put a stop to it. It’s not hard.

I’ve volunteered at a soup kitchen. Feeding people is gratifying on a visceral level. It’s such a tangible act of helping. Not knowing where your next meal will come from is no way to live. People deserve better.
