I don’t know many adults who would rush an armed man or teen with an AR-1! . The politicians, NRA mouthpieces, and conservative pundits who are advocating it certainly wouldn’t rush one. And call me naive, I don’t think they’d risk *their* children either. Ridiculous.

I volunteer with kids in that age range. Some of them are still babies. And even the bigger ones are still innocent children, not fighters. It’s ridiculous to think they want to turn kids into kamikaze soldiers instead of trying to eliminate the weapons killing them.

Doctors face malpractice suits when they make a mistake. Lawyers can face disbarment. What happens to cops who make these “mistakes”? Paid leave and then a promotion. There is no incentive NOT to make mistake for them and they don’t care.

He was 100 percent right. I consider it akin to those that stand by and watch someone be bullied/ beaten/ murdered but do nothing. They are complicit. It shows their true character and their startling lack of empathy.
