It's funny, a little after I posted I went back and searched and found the article, and knew someone would say something to this effect if I didn't change it, I didn't expect it to be you though Meredith, so thank you for taking an interest :) But yeah, I completely missed it when it was posted, I had waited till I

"Is the *Internet* Turning Your Friends Into Jerks, Or Were They Always Like That?"

One of my favorite books as a child was In the Night Kitchen. I like to think that that book both helped me foster an early love for cooking, and also, as odd as it may seem, preemptively set aside any aversion to nudity I might have started life with.

Eh, flesh wounds. She's still pretty hot.

I don't watch True Blood simply because I don't have cable, but I always click on Meredith's recaps for the show because they're always super entertaining. She's got a knack for being a joy to read while stomaching some horrible cheese.

So I don't know if I missed last weeks recap, or if there just wasn't one, but I'm going to say a few things from last week here, cause they feel just about as pertinent despite being a week apart.

Honestly though, while it'd be great for him to have been the Fisher King, I feel like that might have been too obscure, and flown far over peoples heads.

I feel like the show is living in same duality its conveying on screen, while its hard to tell if it really only wants to be one thing or the other.

Yeah, I totally agree. It says something about the achievement of their unity. Till then there isn't much assembly required, maybe cobbling together? lol

Yeah, I hadn't even thought about the casting part of that. I mean, I get that, as a Tim Burton fan (albeit a someone reluctant one these days) and a Kevin Smith fan, I'm okay with the reuse of people, but it does place a big stamp on a movie saying "This is this directors thing".

I haven't seen it yet, but by all accounts of the spoiler free reviews I've read, there doesn't sound like there was a whole lot of need to say the phrase because of the nature of one of the bigger aspects of the movie, which is to say they really couldn't assemble when they were having a hard time forming as a team

I wasn't going to comment because I haven't seen the movie yet (probably will next week), but the two things in the review that I want to say something about don't really have to do with the movie really, but 2 things said in the review.

Going to be hard to dispute those classic "drive to a country thats obviously across an ocean" jokes now, isn't it?

So that's why it was called Clueless

Actual people or the heroes?

Yeah, I was kinda thinking that too.

True, that is probably well worth it, lol.

Yeah, that scene from Deathly Hallows 1 is really the only time I can say there was something REALLY strong going on.. Otherwise it was a lot of glances, but not particularly alluring ones, lol.

Yeah, well.. I don't disagree at all.. They're kinda bore worthy for sure, no matter how great the characterization really is.

ROFL, so true!
