They are full of shit or deranged. No sane person thinks that.

Paul in the 1984 actually is the white savior trope people accuse this version of being.

The weird thing about the 1984 version is that it lost the point of the story entirely. Instead of being about how the prophecy is false as designed to use religion to motivate people, the prophecy is real.

Putting a film on here that got ok reviews and made a small profit seems disingenuous. The fact that Waterworld wasn’t a flop is a far more interesting truth than the lie that it flopped.

More that you can walk to entrance from hotel. They have them for certain hotel’s

Yes and a regular sized hotel that connects directly to Galaxy’s Edge for those with tickets, where the rooms and common areas are themed like star wars, would be very popular IMO.

They made it small to make FULL immersion easier and controllable. You can have SOME immersion and make it bigger. Which is basically my point here.

It was too clean to me.

You could make a Star Wars Hotel that overlooks and connects to Galaxies Edge the way the Animal Kingdom Lodge overlooks the Savanna and connects to Animal Kingdom. It’s not trying to convince you you’re in Africa but it feels very close at times. It’s also expensive but not insanely so, like this was.

Sister Boniface? The Penguin from Blues Brothers? The Warrior Nun?

If they made a slightly larger scale, slightly less immersive experience, it would have been better. You can get people paying $4k for a week at Disney but for 2 nights, it was WAY TOO MUCH.

He was 101.

You mean the multi Oscar winning incredibly famous (At the time) person made more than the relative unknown?!?!?

Am Gen X, can confirm.

I recommend visiting Toronto or Montreal on a Saturday night after the local hockey team loses as home game.

Oscars face ongoing criticism from a couple of white people on twitter over “Naatu Naatu” performance

Although their films were in contention in several categories, neither of them were individually nominated.”

Cruise was personally nominated. As was Cameron. Both for Best Picture, as they were producers on their films.

The clearly cut a lot of stuff out. Maybe to reduce VFX requirements or to simply make it shorter. BUT Gorr is given short shrift.

I didn’t like it because it was clearly hacked apart pre release and it leaves the most interesting parts off screen and the tone is frequently all wrong as it goes for jokes too often when it should go serious. When it finally does go serious, it’s too late to have it matter.
