I prefer toasted pine nuts, diced tomato, diced red onion, lemon juice, cilantro, and salt. Pretty f-ing good. California native.

This was late 90’s and early 00’s, so maybe a generational thing too. That stuff was so good though.

Public high school in the east bay, CA? My gf grew up in the central valley and her school had a similar thing, so I think it may be a California thing.

Yeah, I have two cats - one is fat but not particular to vegetable trimmings and such. She likes potato chips (hence, fat).

My high school sold a lunch dish that consisted of a bag of chips (your choice) that they opened up and filled with nacho cheese sauce, pickled jalepenos, olives, and sour cream. I used to buy it with the flaming hot cheetos and it was so delicious and nothing but salt, falt, and chemicals.

That looks awesome. As a messy home cook, this would help avoid all the scraps that I just kick under the counter and assume someone else will deal with.

I like it!

I had a minor bedbug problem when I first moved to Boston. Our landlord paid for two exterminators and we followed all the rules about cleaning and throwing out stuff, but they hung on. Eventually we had a fine dusting of DE in the bedrooms and that seemed to it. I think we were lucky though.

I work near Harvard Sq. and was always surprised when people went to Qdoba or Chipotle instead of Felipe’s. As a native Californian, Felipe’s is like any good taqueria I grew up with.

I watched this for way too long before I realized it was looping.

Indeed! I think I may actually prefer the heartier taste of french press but I'm happy to oblige her. I do like a press for making cold brew in the summer though!

My gf and I switched from a FP to a Chemex a while ago, so I find it interesting that you like the FP more. I miss it some but she prefers a cleaner cup, and we’ve been doing lighter roasts as well.

I totally forgot about that brand of laser tag - the guns looked so great!

That door after the ball and chain guy drives me nuts - it says “closed” so I assumed at some point it must open.

I remember a damn find BEC from a gas station in Vermont - good coffee too. Now I’m hungry.

This is my problem - I have a few pair but often wear shirts tucked in to work, so it requires more effort than I'd like to pee. I asked around and my brother thought it was weird I even used the flap but he doesn't tuck in for work as much and opens his belt and waist button to pee, which I think is weird.

The 3 outlet mini one is amazing for travel.

Oh man, Metroid II used to scare the crap out of me - something to do with the old green palette of the original Game Boy and the new types of Metroids.

I also would add that auto-pause on enemy sighted or trap found are super helpful!

Bloodborne, Pillars of Eternity, and still playing The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth on my Vita - it is great distraction while half-watching shows on the couch.
