Some people are allergic to alcohol - but I’ve never heard of just certain types of alcohol. Hives are often a sign of an allergy though, so I would avoid beer or whiskey. Beer and whiskey often have grain in them - but not red wine....hmm....

I grew up in the Bay Area in California and we had goats all over the Oakland hills. They were grazed on public park lands and near highways and roads to knock down dry grass and brush to prevent fires. They were always fun to go see and sometimes their handler would let you in to pet them.

I do the same but add rice + water together, then bring to a boil, instead of waiting for the water to boil to add the rice. 20 minutes is usually perfect - and allowing it to sit a bit once the heat is off never hurts.

My high school sold a lunch dish that consisted of a bag of chips (your choice) that they opened up and filled with nacho cheese sauce, pickled jalepenos, olives, and sour cream. I used to buy it with the flaming hot cheetos and it was so delicious and nothing but salt, falt, and chemicals.
