Well, you have so many variants of Linux and I never heard anyone say development on Linux sucks. Essentially the OS is the same but I can imagine it would be hard to tailor your app to many different UIs, if the app needs that.

Docky already has a "Show Desktop Toggler" docklet that does exactly this.

Isn't the iPhone 4 supposed to have a Gorilla Glass screen?

@reapur: I use Pidgin for chat, since it's multi-protocol and works on both Windows and Linux. My only peeve was that I couldn't synchronize the chat logs at home and office. I use DropBox to achieve this synchronization now - by simply adding a link to the Pidgin log folder in my DropBox folder.

I'd embrace her too if I had the chance.

"Gray says the Leidenfrost effect (named after German doctor Johann Gottlob Leidenfrost) should, in theory, protect your hand from a vat of molten lead."

@Lassus: The huge LJ on the image is not LiveJournal (I thought it was too, at first), but LiveJasmin.

You can get "Low-Priced Editions" of lots of textbooks and the like in India for much cheaper. A couple of examples I've seen recently:

How come Obama and Gore get Nobel Peace prizes and not this guy?

@Andre Barnett: one for me too if you still have one to spare. hariharan022 [at] gmail.com

@Hesadanza: If you're using Linux, you can try dnsmasq. Almost no setup required, and, when I was using my ISP's DNS provider, it did improve the performance noticeably. The difference is not so great since I started using OpenDNS.

I use the Addon compatibility reporter addon which automatically allows all addons to work. As an added benefit, you can help out the devs by reporting whether your extension works or not.

VOTE: Pidgin

I second KMT. The convenience of having work mail, Feeds (and Gmail too, through IMAP) in one application is unbeatable for me. With Gmail UI installed, you get the easy search advantages of Google Reader, and quite a few of the other advantages are already available in it.
