Some of it's best games are super rare gets.Guardian Heroes. Dragon Force. Ikaruga. Macross: DYRL. TWIN BEE. Gunbird (Atlus <3). PANZER DRAGOON (ALL)...Ok, so I played a lot of shooters.

when I got a saturn and I played stuff like Dragon Force, Nights and Virtua Fighter 2 I knew I made the right choice.

Snatcher was tight, but the weird platforming ending of Rise of the Dragon was so out of left field.

It's slop all it's cracked up to be.

SUDDENLY WIGS ARE GO

is dat some Panic? Dragon Force?

FUNKY DA ZE!

I was proudly on both sides. I remember almost everything about the day I bought my PS2; the PS1, not so much, but I remember all of the games I played on it.

Though, I have some seriously fond memories about my sega > sega CD > Saturn > Dreamcast upgrade path.

Probably worth pointing out that my PS+ subscription works on 4 consoles instead of 2, with 'free' games on all systems. Oh, and I don't have to pay for online play on 3 of them. Your arguments boil down to nothing more than preference, but I am glad you enthusiastically defend your position.

Microsoft has the buying

On PS3 it is still free. Considering all 360 owners paid and got very little in return last for ALL of this console cycle. This doesn't count as a negative.

You know, I understand that people have emotional triggers, but I refuse to step lightly and feel bad because people struggle with issues like suicide and self-mutilation. Everyone has their demons, but few have been as overbearing in my experience as those who try to stamp out all mentions of suicide and self-harm.

Doesn't anyone in that videogame.com office or whatever DO THE FREAKING DISHES?!

Not gamma. If it was some huge gamma emitter incident, japan would be fucked.

Beta rays? No.

What you see as 'depth' other people see as needless complication. Really if I could have a simplified fighting game with subtle, yet deep mechanics I would prefer that than any of the fighters you have mentions. Most of them have eaten off each other's plates, adding needless complications to follow trends in the

Probably because the creator of the game called it a party game and envisioned it as such. Like the makers of the original street fighter didn't intend for combos, it just sort of happened.

I had a lot of fun with Shaq-Fu. Also, no irony. I have a particularly strong memory of playing it while listening to Sugar Hill Gang on 8-track (there were contractors around and they brought one inside to listen to old 8-track tapes for some reason). I really don't get all of the crap this game gets considering

I need 3 more wolf pelts. NOW

This comment annoys me, but i'm not going to bother with a point by point criticism of it. Gears of War being 'risky' is something you can apply to any new shooter franchise. It's risky in the way that many subtle 'ah ha!' innovations can be because it simply took something we were used to in 2d games and slower-paced

I demand BLR does a redub full-length feature from GoT for this.

You say that like Monster Hunter has seen tons of innovations and no one can do it better.
