Huh, I feel the exact opposite. I can’t stand reading a hapless game reviewer try and tiptoe his or her way around the sim racing scene. “well these physics SEEM pretty realistic. I think. I’m told. Uhm. There are parts that you can add to your car. They improve the car. They seem pretty real.”

My Dad was in the Coast Guard and stationed in Port Angeles, Washington when DB hijacked the plane. They were actually on standby to follow the jet, until everyone realized that a Grumman Albatross couldn’t keep up with a jetliner.
Dad’s job was radar and electronics/radio. It’s still one of my most favorite stories…
