Do you have a link to a news article about that incident? (Edit: sorry, by “that incident” I mean the the cyclist killing the pedestrian on the bike trail near Alewife.) I ride that way all the time and I hadn’t heard about it, so I am curious to know more.

I’ve often wondered if they’ve done any studies on the emissions sources of the fans attending Formula 1 races, which it seems to me would vastly outweigh any of the emissions of anything the Formula 1 teams do.  I think F1 probably has a lot of fans who actually fly to their events, when compared to any other kind of

Haha yeah, but how much fuel does it take to fly the teams and all their equipment to every race (or even just the ones not in Europe)?

Hah, this is great! If you’re texting or something and you plow into a pedestrian in Florida, just claim you thought they were protesting, and you’re good.

If Mercedes and Hamilton are negotiating, Hamilton wants more money and Mercedes wants to pay him less, right? So the better any other driver does in Hamilton’s seat, the more leverage Mercedes has to say to Lewis, “Hey, you’re not our only option here, so you better take less money, or we’ll go with this dude who

Man, that would be exciting though huh? Put Hamilton in a Red Bull and Verstappen in a Mercedes for a weekend and see what happened.

Arguments about who could win in what car aside, why would Mercedes intentionally screw over Russell, what kind of sense does that make? They were deep in contract negotiations with Hamilton at the time. Proving someone else could win races as easily as Hamilton would only make things better for Mercedes.

Haha I actually really like “mobile huts,” I may be stealing that. I was enjoying the idea that it was a colossal autocorrect error, but the fact that you were using it intentionally makes it even better.

Good lord, man.

Ah, I follow you, makes sense.  Haha well it all serves me right for making comments on the internet in the first place.

I know brother, but I’m enjoying the thought of what a mobile hut is. I’m thinking like a yurt on wheels?

Where did I ever say anyone deserved this?

Haha I knew I was gonna get dumped all over for my comment, don’t know why I picked you to respond to. True, it does suck when your shit gets stolen, and yeah the guy’s a jerk for stealing other people’s stuff. But when’s the last time you felt awful because someone got their Lamborghini stolen? The further a purchase

Tell me more about where I can get a mobile hut for $15,000.  Also, what a mobile hut is.

The value of the stolen bikes ranges anywhere from $80,000 to $150,000 MXN, which is about $4,000 to $7,400 USD.

Kind of a dumb story on my part, lots of fuckups all around but here goes:

Yeah, and of course everyone driving a red car is a card-carrying communist.

If I’m reading that linked website correctly, you can get a new ProBox for 13K?  That got me wondering, do we know what the cheapest new car in Japan is?

Now playing

I like the guy, but I think even he acknowledges that it was his bad. If you watch this video:

I wonder if it would be considered deadnaming to refer to an actor’s past rolls where they portrayed a different gendered person when identifying them? For instance, I always call Chris Evans “Captain America” (I even had to Google his actual name just now). I do this with a LOT of people of both genders, because I
