He is facing the wrong direction for hood surfing...they are taking this DeBlasio protest way too seriously.
If you are going to try and DVR a sports event, it's your responsibility to go dark until you can watch it. I flew home from Christmas vacation during the second half of my team's bowl game. I put my phone in airplane mode for 6 hours, walked with my head down through the airport with headphones in, and still almost…
...is this God?
At least that coverage will end!
these and GTIs - BMWs for people who couldn't quite afford BMWs.
Of course, we'd hardly need the 25-year import ban to get lifted if we could just buy sweet, simple, awesome rear-drive coupes from the showroom. Nissan made a big huff about these cars last year, then issued some statement about difficult business cases, and then went silent.
This—> "I find SUV kind of fucking annoying. You can't see around them well and people who drive them tend to not have the best spacial awareness, because their vehicle is bigger than they realize. Fellow Jalops, the Mini Countryman is a (admittedly imperfect) solution to this problem. If they were more Countrymans…
I was going to post almost this exact argument, but you beat me to it by quite a bit. ALL vehicles are getting bigger and bigger. I mean a new Cherokee is bigger than an old Grand Cherokee. Look at Nissan's SUV lineup over the last 15 years... cars in general are getting enormous. A compact truck of new is bigger than…
Yeah, that's why I told myself I'd get the coupe instead of something like the kawasaki z1000 or something. So instead of ending up as a smear on a wall or tree or highway divider somewhere, I have this ;)
She'll probably have some trouble finding a new Excursion, seeing as they haven't been made in nearly a decade...
Ha, not suggesting that they'd be cross shopped, but to your first point, that's exactly why I got the thing in the first place. I was looking for a fun to drive, relatively inexpensive, fuel efficient car that could transport me and possibly a coworker for lunch or something to commute with. Ergo... Granted, I'm…
From a US point of view, what you say makes sense. From a Euro point of view, it doesn't. Here the Mini falls into one of the larger categories of cars that are commonly seen. SUVs are obviously much bigger, but small hatchbacks make up the majority of the market, and the Mini's on the large side for those.
THIS NEEDED TO BE SAID SO BAD!
you can't see around [SUVs] well
No sweat....I wasn't taking it as you railing against my post. My original post was so simple that it left lots open to interpretation. It was one photo, and one word ("Mini"). In my head, I was thinking "these things are a lot bigger than the one I used to have and the name is now a blatant misnomer," not "these…
I'm the one who suggested Mini, and I wanted to just chime in.
