Hasn’t audio-over-the-radio been the standard for decades now? I was going to drive-ins in the mid 90s and that was the way you heard the movies. It didn’t seem like a brand new technology at the time.

That very well could be. I guess what I was getting at there is, what percentage of car buyers are buying because they absolutely need a new car at that moment? Like what would you estimate be? I have no idea what the number is, but I would guess 5%. I freely admit that I could be completely off.

Yeah, that’s a great point, I wonder what percentage of these sales are leases.  Do they count leases as sales?

Yeah I’m in the same boat as you re: savings, and I’m kicking myself for buying a car a year ago instead of this spring. I don’t think it’s a bad idea to buy a car as a result of all this, I’m more surprised that people are doing it at this very moment. 

Yeah, I don’t know though, I feel like prices will be considerable better in 3-4 months. The economic impact of this thing is not going away quickly, and dealer desperation is only going to grow. I guess I should be saluting everyone who is doing their part to keep the economy chugging, though.

What’s kind of blowing my mind is that ANYONE is buying cars right now. I just don’t get why you wouldn’t put it on hold right now. Are 40-60% of car sales because people need a new car right now, this very second?

Are drones fast enough? For drifting it’s fine because they’re not doing 100+, but I’m not sure they’re gonna keep up with even like Rally Cars.

Yeah that’s a great point about the swearing, I wish we could get an uncensored feed. It was way more fun with the swearing.
