Good lord yes, the Wire. It takes a couple episodes to start sorting the characters, but it is 5 seasons of pure Shakespearean greatness.
It’s just plain old chicken noodle soup, but with tortellini instead of kluski. The tortellini thickens the broth some, and the cheese from the tortellini leaks out and flavors the soup as well. It’s delicious. I do it with homemade garlic gnocchi most of the time, but it has been a tortellini kind of mood lately.
Definitely The Wire first.

Ooohhh, that’s a toughie. I’m a die hard David Lynch fan, but there is a lot of fuckery with the second season of Twin Peaks, so I’d say The Wire first, Twin Peaks second, The Sopranos third. All three are fantastic though.
