Hmm, that might be a thing with your specific circle. African Americans care a great deal about the issue greatly. The sheer number of black celebrities tweeting #freepalestine is a good example. Also, there are a number of African American muslims, which might color the issue a bit more.

Most Americans are white. But the blanket term of 'most Americans' when you just mean 'white americans' can mask a lot of things. Most nonwhite Americans do not support Israel.

People of Color almost entirely do not support Israel, and symathize with what the Palestinians endure.

No I said people who are Jewish OR White OR Conservative tend to not support israel. I should have added 'or' in there, since you arent the first person to assume I meant "conservative + jewish + white".

They do, and they both get lobbied by Israel. But the people on the ground are totally different than the 'right and far right' parties we have in office.

That poll doesnt mention POC. Also it says only 55% of self describing liberals and 63% of indepdenents support Israel. Wanna guess who the other 45%and 37% are?

I should probably clarify, I meant those three classes independently, not together. So most Whites support israel. Most Conseratives support Israel and most Jewish people support Israel. People outside of those collective groups dont.

For those who think that Israelis hate only extends to Arabs and Muslims, dont forget they have a horrible track record with racism towards Blacks and Sri lankans.

Most Americans dont automatically support Israel. Most White, Conservative, and Jewish Americans automatically support Israel. Virtually no one outside of those demographics sides with Israel. There is a vital difference there.
