Tens if not 100s of people are killed by guns everyday. An article about a Zippo Gun bears no relation to what happened in Norway.

If time travel is possible, why haven't we seen people from the future?

Yes, the unarmed innocent people on the island should have arrested the mad gun wielding man.

Do you have any idea how much it costs to run a helicopter, and have it constantly manned? The population density of Norway is pretty low, it would be completely impractical to have helicopters running all the time.

It's not about police having the right, it's about the need. Norway is much safer than the USA and it costs a lot to train and support officers to carry firearms.

But they can for all their marketing materials, logos and product names. The stores weren't authorised by Apple to sell the products.

They were trying to make the article realistic, it was in The Sun after all.

Apart from cardboard's not great in a really wet environment, it takes up more horizontal room, it's smaller so you have to buy more and you have to remember to close it, which you don't normally.

"Lego, comic books, NASA, Cousteau and *girls*". How'd you manage to do all of those things? I thought you could pick the first four or the last one.

But it has a worldwide audience. For example Spotify has been available for months in other countries but the moment it comes to the US there are loads of posts about how to use it etc. and the app became the download of the week.

But the article says "the titanium straw has some decided advantages over a plastic straw" not "over metal straws", hence my comment.

You said the "complete guide" it was meant to be the "American guide" #corrections.

I think it's fairly obvious. People have fewer friends on G+ so can't spend as much time on it as Facebook, which is updated more frequently and used by more people.

Ironically, your post would go right into the whiny bitches section.

If it's hot enough to melt a straw, I'd like to know what the fuck it's going to do to your mouth. And most drinks can't get above 100C anyway.

"It doesn't get too hot or too cold". Since when have you ever had a drink where the straw was too cold, but the beverage was not? In fact, when have you ever had a hot or cold straw?

Because the eBook format is more convenient in some cases. She wrote to make children happy, not for money, now she has the potential to let even more children experience the world of Harry Potter, I think she should.

Relative to the amount of money she has, no, not at all.

No, because you're getting more and better content. I feel all eBooks should be sold freely or at a strongly reduced rate to people who already own the books, especially with big publishers.

But if you've already paid for it? By no means does she need the money and authors write for the pleasure and in her case especially the pleasure of making other people, notable children, happy. It'd be a small nod of appreciation to the Potter fandom.
