I think you hit the nail on the head. All I want to do is sprint around all fast and crazy. The last thing I want to do is play more stealthily and creep around. That's why this game hasn't clicked for me.

I was thinking about this and Prey. I just got Prey a few months ago, and it didn’t catch me in the same way Control does. I ended up stopping just after you do your first EVA after getting clobbered by a safe mimic, and never picked it up again.

After Playing control, I can put my finger on it, Prey just felt so…

And yet the Renegade is still a thing. Shame.
