Meh... They stated they'll compare code and everything via the police. If nexon will just step up... They haven't done so... Actions speak so much louder than words. Nex is trying to bury them for leaving and nothing more... It's revenge... Prob a very hostile working enviro is my guess...

Also just to add ... the fact that these are professional developers coming out of a corporate environment makes it far less likely they are committing IP theft. Sure, it happens, but they had to understand the repercussions and scrutiny they’d be under. These aren’t amateurs or angsty teens with a grudge.

The list of “identical file names” in the Nexon submission is very suspicious. Firstly, they state there are 2338 files but then say if they exclude engine files it’s actually just over 1000. That’s just plain shady to even list the first number at all - engine files aren’t evidence of copying anything. They then list

I feel it’s the appropriate amount to ask.

Okay I want whatever this studio was smoking because that is amazing

That’s effectively impossible with the Nintendo deal (which is probably part of the reason Nintendo signed it) and that’d be a lousy deal anyway. The only reason FF is exclusive to PlayStation at all is because the Xbox brand has been horribly mismanaged in Japan, and FF moves a ton of copies in that market. Sony and

Oh don’t worry, you’ll get your wish:

I think there’s a good chance if the merger fails Microsoft will just buy exclusive rights to Call of Duty, forget the rest of Activision. Sony’s been talking about how much that would hurt them, without realizing that there’s more than one way for accomplish that goal.

Honestly, this is one of the few good/correct takes I’ve seen about this whole fiasco.

I am hoping the FTC adopts the reversal of fortune doctrine for all mergers.
The doctrine would allow for the breakup of any parties requesting that the government approve a potential merger if a preponderance of stakeholders (i.e. posters) determine that the conversation around the merger has gone on too long and

I think part of it is just a general aesthetic change that has happened with most of the SF characters over the years. Akiman’s art style was mostly the standard for SFII and he favored wider, often rounder jawlines and softer features.

I agree that her face looks a lil weird. But I’m with it.

Majority of the Street Fighter series doensn’t adhere to any sort of standard as far as anatomy goes(outside of the surface level character designs). So a lot of the characters get thinner/thicker facial features just depending on the games artstyle.

Yes...However, I always wonder if when a new cheat comes out or becomes popular, do the devs buy it? A team could use it on separate servers, dissect it, and come up with a counter.

“this stupid name that has no relation to gaming at all”

Especially since in english it is the acronym for Garbage In, Garbage Out.

Keanu rolled with the best, dude!

Ooh, Megalovania's an interesting one. It's transcended its origin, but it has popped up in a few games.

Now playing

In fairness, the original isn’t that far off the parody. It’s just an early voice synthesizer reading the text, a remix of the theme, and so... so many photoshopped memes.

Earthbound gets a lot of play, I’ve noticed a few youtubers that have nothing to do with games that use the battle music or town music. One I follow uses “battle against a mobile opponent” as generic background music and another uses “battle against a weird opponent” as intro music.
