Glad to see Steam might open everything for wild customization options... xD

Lived life entertaining many, died trying to rescue the lives of a few. What a legend!

Oh, it goes much further than that, and this is something Activision Blizzard gamers should be tired of knowing about.

Scandal apart, the video is a reminder to me that when I originally played this game, it was in a very inappropriate machine to run it... xD The video looks super smooth in comparison to my original experience... I think frames were constantly dropping under 10fps, and I still managed to play like that anyways.

Well, it’s pretty hard to make any game stick when you have a boss shouting about monetization, micro transactions, and now also crypto and NFTs constantly and without rest, fanatic and extreme enough to the point of selling out a bunch of classic brand defining franchises to a 3rd party so they could focus even more

So, I’ve commented on a past Ars Technica post that was the exact opposite of this:

I feel like a litmus test is needed here.

She did a great job as a tokenized sock puppet to use under accusations of sexism, rape and frat boy culture, so we’re keeping her on the payroll”.

Oh, I see they found the used vibrating/shocking anal bead there. It’s his face.

Oh my

Grounded in reality is not an excuse, as none of it is grounded in reality, and realistically melee weapons just don’t break this fast, degrade in some weird uniform way, or become totally useless when they break.

You know what is bad in this entire situation?

I still haven’t played the game and avoided spoilers so far, guess I’ll just watch the show instead...

Never watched it, but from what I read... probably ok too. Because it’s self deprecating humor, right? If it’s not trapping people into humiliating situations, done willingly without external pressure to victims of the prank, that’s not so bad. It’s still kinda bad when it’s guests who kinda feel forced to it for

People can disagree with me all they want, the only type of prank I find acceptable at all are the ones I’ve seen from Just for Laughs, the Canada comedy festival. And it might not be all of them... because I haven’t watched that many.

I always thought it was somewhat related to Kung-fu, which is spread out through the series... Chinese dragons have been historically associated to imperial power in historical China, intersecting with mythology, culture and whatnot. Well, indirectly, it’s how it got there I guess... a golden dragon statue likely

Don’t worry, I didn’t suffer a stroke. xD

People will get used to it... people got used to Octopath Traveler, Tactics Ogre, Bravely Default, Melty Blood... perhaps Tears of the Kingdom is too “normal” in comparison to Breath of the Wild, which sounds like some sort of halitosis.

I’ll just copy paste the comment I made on both Gizmodo and Ars, just in case some people are interested in this.

Adding a little bit of nuance to it - while what the original tweet said CAN be true to some genres and styles of development, it certainly is not always the case particularly for big studios’ triple A titles, and definitely cannot be used as broad generalization...
