Meh. Give me a garage where I can actually get work done. Oogling expensive cars and lounging around gets old after a while.

1st Gear - Term Limits... 2 for Senate, 3 for House... the age thing gets you sued for discrimination!

Ummm, allow me to educate you. Working as a full time pizza delivery driver in Columbus, Ohio, I was able to save a down payment and buy a 1500 sq foot house for myself. Granted, this was much cheaper than California, but if you are in the right pizza shop, it can certainly pay as much as a “real” job.

These are ment to be ENTRY LEVEL jobs and pay accordingly. The mandate that these slackers who can’t muster the motivation to be under-achievers should earn enough to “live” on removes the incentive to work on their skills and education and get a real job that supports their lifestyle.

Makes you wonder if the water -actually- extinguished the fire or if it was more to contain it and prevent spreading away from the car...

I didn’t worry about it as a kid, I don’t worry about it now. Nothing I can do about it, so no reason to even be concerned about it. I just try to do my part by voting for adults.

Automatic systems are no substitute for the old MK1 Eyeball. But also, bikers and cyclists have to show some sense of self preservation too and not just assume that everything is going to automatically avoid them also. We all gotta do our part.

The problem is humans relying on their cars to avoid collisions for them since they are too busy looking at their phones........

Pigeons are like flying rats, and should be treated as such.  They’re sky-vermin.  That taxi driver was doing the city a favour.

And so? He would still drive. Drunk driving, reckless driving, driving after revocation, hit and run. Fines levied that are never paid. There are no real consequences in Wisconsin. And I’m sure many other states.

The sad part is jail likely won’t stop him. He will get right behind the wheel drunk. License or no license.

For a finite amount of time, they are fine—different people have different ways to grieve. After a certain time, however, they do start to migrate towards the creepy side and especially when the deceased person’s loved ones fight city government to keep the memorials there years after the death.

Some people require their grief to be very public. I always assume they’re the same type of people to overshare on social media.

I think they are, indeed, creepy...or as I call them, maudlin. Plus they pose a safety risk and distraction to drivers.

I wonder how many people have been killed by standing at the dangerous location to assemble a memorial to the dangers of the dangerous area.

yeah I pass a couple on the way into the city and they are on perfectly straight roads with no intersections, the dirty teddy bears and cards are sad but after a while just look like junk

Pontiac and Holden

So everyone needs to move into tiny 1 bedroom apartments in crime ridden cities just so less cars are used? no thanks.

It honestly just isn’t realistic to think this kind of change is feasible. I fully accept that manmade climate change is  here and that we are screwed, but I also think we are fully fucked already regardless of what we do. I’m going to buy an EV as soon is I can afford one that would meet my needs, and I’m interested

That’s mainly because so many people have deluded themselves into believing they “need” a loaded full size truck with 4wd.   Or they “need” a 7 passenger SUV just because they have one or two kids.
