Bullitt is a fantastic crime drama where every scene is shot on location in San Francisco, that HAPPENS to have a famous car chase in it. Don’t blame the film because you allowed yourself to think it’s a “car movie.”

In Florida, leaving a car (in a public place) requires drivers to “[stop] the engine, [lock] the ignition, and [remove] the key” when they leave it unattended. Failure to do it is a non-criminal traffic offense. And in general in most states, leaving a car unattended with key in the ignition is negligence.

Is it the people whos stealing stuff the problem?

There’s a time limit (25 mins + 1 lap) since that’s is fairly standard for F4 level series; I know Italian F4 uses the same format.

I agree that Junior broke a taboo by talking about concussions. But the current car doesn’t deform a lot during an impact. The video above shows what looks like a brush of the wall based on the damage to the car. But the in car camera shows the driver getting the absolute crap beaten out of him.

What I notice in the wreck in question is that the rear end of the car doesn’t crumple much at all. It looks not just repairable, but a set of tires from being back on the track and competitive.
