Why do I get the feeling that this will never get completed? Just getting through the mountains alone will eat up most of the money I think. And I’m sure the environmentalist won’t be protesting anything about it either.

The plant will most likely never be operational again. Stellantis is going to do same thing happened in a town about 40 miles north of them. GM idled the plant there and was saying the same things Stellantis is saying. After a few years of being “idle” they will end up closing it.
If you want see one of the reasons why we don't have a high speed rail system, look up the show If We Build It Today. The did an episode on it. I thought it was a really good episode on it.
The easiest solution for the lost stud hanger is find a long bolt that you can screw into the hole. Cut the head off the bolt and you got yourself a new stud hanger. I did this for a boat trailer that had stud bolts before I did a complete overhaul on the trailer.

Or Stroker Ace
I’ve lived in Wisconsin my how life, 49 years, and I’ve never really had too many issues driving 2WD Rangers or S-10s in the winter. What I found works best is getting All-Terrain Tires instead of running All-Season Tires. They seem to hand snow better. But when it’s icy out the best thing to do is just stay home.
Surprised this hasn’t happened at O’Hare or Midway.
From what I’ve read, they want to go younger. Since it seems to take close to a year or so to shot these movies. And I am guessing they want to him to do several movies.
Or asking if they are there yet.
They don't say Ope in Tennessee. That is more of a Wisconsin thing.
I hope the people of Belvedere are not buying into what Stellantis is telling them about the plant. The same thing happened in a town about 40 miles north of them. GM idled the plant there and was saying the same things Stellantis is saying. They might as well plan on it closing for good.
