Hormonal IUDs are actually a fantastic treatment for endo. It stops it progressing any further and because in a lot of cases it stops your cycle, it stops the endo pain, too.

It’s illegal for insurance not to cover it. The ACA specifically calls out birth control as being a fully covered service that shouldn’t even have a co-pay.

I got a lot of side eyes at the clinic when my 15 year old daughter asked for birth control and demanded an IUD rather than the pills and rings they tried to talk her into. I did something right with that kid. #notagrandma

I’ve had my Mirena for over two years. It has completely eliminated my horrendously painful Endo symptoms, hormonal migraines, and periods. I was talked out of it on three separate occasions by Planned Parenthood doctors and finally demanded to try it when my Endo became debilitating. In addition to medical cannabis,

CALM DOWN I CAN’T EVEN FIGURE OUT HOW TO USE THIS DIVACUP YET

It’s sad that the frequency of mass shootings has created this tradition among hospitals. No one is criticing the solidarity or camaraderie.

My hair is just like me. It just sort of lies there lethargically. Indifferent to the world.

Sometimes I re-watch that Diamond Dan scene for science.

You left out the best detail of the episode: the South Park pinball machine! Mindy sure is a woman after my own heart!

It was def. intentional. Middle of the episode, the parents show Danny photos of the Indian dudes she could marry and Danny’s like “Mindy would never go for this - needs more white NFL players” or something like that. The running gag on the show is that Mindy is a gun loving, racist woman who would prefer to be white.

YEAH! stupid diamond dan and...

Well, since she’s the one who’d be getting the abortion, it’s really her personal beliefs that matter in this situation, not yours, isn’t it?

She is in this predicament because of medical malpractice. She nor her personal beliefs are responsible the sheer negligence of the clinic’s staff.

Ahh, thanks. I’m surprised when I hear about some of the stuff US women, and some men, have to deal with. I live in (world-renowned bastion of human rights) China and we’re entitled to 14 weeks paid leave, legal government-provided abortions and can buy OTC BC at the general store. It’s astounding to me at times.

I’ve been at MS for over 7 years and have yet to see anyone penalized for taking maternity or paternity leave. MS is a good place for women, as long as you don't mind being the only woman in a meeting room full of men. (I previously worked at IBM, which has considerably better gender diversity.)

Miranda’s break-up album is going to be SO. FUCKING.GOOD.

This will seriously hurt her reelection chances.

Sadly Richard Gilmore won’t be in it
