Some people literally cannot drive across the bridge. I drive over the bay bridge multiple times a year and have seen it firsthand, well I guess the people that are scared but do it anyway. It really sucks when you encounter it.

I don’t get it: You pay for someone else to drive you as a passenger, making it the exact same risk for you. What the fuck!?

I’m shocked that they are proceeding with the charges. Between these videos and the officer not turning on his body camera, I don’t see a non embarrassing outcome for the city.

I don’t know why this part of the car bothers me, like either remove it all together, or paint it black lol. I understand those are DRLs but it feels unnecessary from a design point.

You have to shrug because there is virtually nothing that can be (legally) done about it. Unelected officials with a lifetime appointment and realistically zero accountability. I can’t possibly imagine why that would be ripe for corruption, especially when ~40% of the electorate are pretty cool with it, since the

America is great because you find out that an unelected official who makes decisions that affect the lives of millions of people for decades is accepting obvious bribes and you just kind of have to shrug and hope someone does something about that.

I like cruising, but you couldn’t pay me to step foot on a Carnival ship.

Doooo iiiiiiiitttt. Fix it up then have Rob put it back on NPOND.

They had to maintain the GM tradition of putting out garbage, perfecting it, and then cutting it once perfected because everyone just remembered the garbage that came first.

This one is testing my resolve. I have a trailer, it’s only about an hour away from me, and we’re coming up on a three day weekend.

A wreck like that hasn’t happened since the 90s? In NASCAR, we call it a blowover and it has happened once a year with every generation of car.

Absolutely the wrong take-away. Nobody is suggesting the 90s wrecks that Allison, Earnhardt, and others (Ernie Irvan, for example) survived weren’t lucky breaks — that’s why the safety has become such an important aspect of the engineering of these cars AND TRACKS ... but I suspect Elizabeth knows this.

This stinks of

It’s like if, instead of replacing each board of the ship of Theseus one at a time, they just used the whole thing for firewood and then built a new ship using the hardware they dug out of the ashes.

Ooooh. That is evil genius level plotting there.

1. You’re an Audi mechanic; buy the car.

Noooooooooooo. Nooooooooo. Oh hell no. COVID prices are long gone. This is a $2500-3500 car.

Oppos: “MAKE MORE CARS! WE DON’T NEED THESE GIANT SUVs!”

Florida, it ain’t the heat. It is the stupidity.

Judging from the way the person was driving leading up the crash and of course the crash itself, this person should be banned from driving for the rest of their life. Allowing them (and other similar people who are unable to operate a motor vehicle) to retake the test after recovery is a huge public safety concern.
