I thought I was the only person with that theory! I kind of imagine "ether" as we used to believe it existed. Like if you put a marble on a tennis ball and put both between two sheets of foam rubber. From the marble's perspective, it's being attracted to the tennis ball.
Not only can it go much higher, it likely will. When people start using mBC and uBC more often to describe bit coins, the amounts will seem more palatable.
I'd love to see it crash, even if it just went < $20. Until the entire pool is generated, there is still potential for increase. It's when people can't generate more and get bored with it that you see a problem.
Don't make assumptions. I read this blog regularly. I'm planning on buying a Surface on release day. Kind of excited about it, actually. Didn't preorder due to the multiple times Gizmodo articles said don't bother.
Besides the fact that many roots will not grow if there is too much light, the texture isn't going to match soil. What exactly is going to be learned if roots can't make "decisions" like they would in a natural environment? This chemical composition also appears to be uniform, which is going to create another obstacle…
Riding with my mom == driverless car.
These devices are interesting. I still stand behind putting a cheap PC instead. Windows is my personal choice. Chrome for Netflix, Steam for games, etc. It isn't that hard to pick up a laptop from craigslist (avoid being raped, though) for under $200 that has HDMI. Around $100 gets you something with VGA out.
Why is this always "JK's first book for adults" instead of "JK's first book for adults that is about ...." ?What, I'm supposed to go read the summary?
I can't stress Waze enough for a maps replacement. It can search Google, but the crowd sourced early warning of traffic issues is better than any implementation I have seen to date.
Computers are dropping in price. Tv's have VGA ports (usually). Not that difficult to setup, and now you have everything on your Tv.
This is the reason why all handsets were to move to the micro-USB standard. Great idea, IMHO. Meanwhile, my Apple chargers are wearing out. 3 iPads and countless iPhones (2 of each generation, +/- a few) gives me lots of these little buggers, but we've started having to throw a few away. They last years - but not…
They're still starting?
Plus, hater man sort of proves this thing has value with his rant. Yeah, price of electronics drop. You replace those parts. A case like this can last a decade or more with no problems, and easily see 4-5000 bucks of parts.
No, the iPhone 5 was in development for 2 years. If this is a prototype and not a production model there is no reason to update it to iOS6. Meanwhile, who cares? I like gadgets I can touch.
I used to. I also tried it as an input device. When it comes down to it, it was always 2nd best. I have 3 monitors on my computer, at best my iPad does email checking.
The gauntlet is laid down. I think we should have a world-wide competition. I'm not sure who this Drake fella is, but I think I see a country that could use 3.3 million more downloads.
Well too expensive. When ARM Windows 8 first gets released, hackers are going to go nuts. You'll have a plethora of $100 tablets capable of running Windows 8. And if not the hackers doing ports, the Chinese just doing cheap. Plus, free malware.
The original RAZR and lots of the old candy bar phones were nice little pieces of kit. I thought about going back to them and just adding internet to a tablet.
I remember using something that built a really good index of all of your media - and then used it, which is where a lot of media centers fail. XBMC might do it through a plugin.
