Sounds to me like this will be the Catwoman of zombie films.

Happy Birthday - it's mine too - yay for SETI and us!
The problem is Velma likes Daphne way more than you....
Well I was 1/2 right - seems there are references in the book to him having "black" hair....
Your "he should have dark hair" and "he looks like a grizzled war vet" comments are very interesting, since in the books, he's both blond and a war vet, hence his rank of "Commander". I believe the new films were trying hard to go back to the source material for inspiration.
I think the turn into a crusty old white dude makes him lose his cool.
"The Serpent and the Rainbow" is pretty frakking scary - and bonus points go for involving Haitian zombies too!
I remember checking this out in a school fieldtrip back in the early 80s! When they proposed building the Peripheral Canal in 1980/81 [?] to divert water from the Sacramento River, they built it into the model to see how it would affect the Bay's waterways.
"Post Avatar" means the world is ready to embrace these sorts of classic alien adventures even if there's no solid story, am I right?
You misheard - the plane was enveloped by a mysterious CIGAR shaped cloud. I think that code is pretty obvious, eh? Wink wink, nudge nudge....
Wasn't this already whitewashed when they took the Japanese book, "Battle Royale" and rewrote it as being set in North America?
No mention of the cyberman getting crammed in the boot? Thought that was Captain Jack Harkness' job!
@SupaChupacabra: I think that's bean juice...Human bean juice.
@Garrison Dean: R.O.A.C.H.: Quit crushing my head!
@xdeathknightx: Olivier's comment was in response to Dustin Hoffman being all strung out from staying awake for days on end to be in character for "Marathon Man" - he wasn't a big believer of method acting apparently. You have a point though about some parts being off . Good casting goes far. One can't take…
@No_More_Mr_Nice_Guy: Except they're actors, not real people. Mark Hamill didn't have to chop off a hand to portray how it felt. Anthony Hopkins didn't kill anyone and eat their liver to get into character. As Lawrence Olivier said, "My dear boy, why don't you try acting?"
@DARSFOG: Could be a joke - there is no stage 7 or 14, and stage 10 is a dubbing/ADR stage. However, stage 12 is the largest soundstage on the lot.
@HidingInCanada: And not a remake of Halloween 3, which the title suggests....
Not bad. Excuse me while I spoon my brain back into my ear.
@bishop1j: Too bad his schedule just freed up again.
