Maybe they can get Doctor Terrible?

It could be that you’re too young to remember and/or that parodies just don’t age well, but the 80s were already rife with parody films - beyond the two “Airplane!” movies, there were “Closet Cases of the Nerd Kind”, “Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid”, “Saturday the 14th”, “Young Doctors in Love”, “Johnny Dangerously”,

Considering that the film is largely about military conflict and rebellion, do you complain that other war-related movies don’t have enough female dialogue? Are “The Great Escape”, “Black Hawk Down”, etc. lesser movies because there aren’t enough strong female characters? It’s like complaining a movie about the NFL

I have a silicone spatula from Williams Sonoma that was clear when I got it 5 years ago, but after repeated use and washings - actually always hand-washed - it’s now cloudy and yellowing. I feel like these would go the same route.

Is the dream of teledildonics alive in Portland?

It probably is - it was a term thrown around a lot in the 1990s when cybersex was the next big thing. There was even a magazine, “Future Sex” that regularly had articles about it.

Too bad it’s not K9-U.N.I.T. Joint Operations, for a great Doctor Who tie-in!

Not very fauxcused on reading comprehention today, are you?

Harvard Lampoon’s James Bond novel, “Alligator” nails Ian Flemming’s tone:

Love your comment, but feel bad that it slights wonderful alternative folk singer Michelle Shocked...

Hahaha, fax machines in 2015 - how quaint! Wait, I’m at work, it’s 2015, and there’s a fax machine by my desk. Hmmmmm.

Let’s hope Heimdall doesn’t like iced tea too, or he’ll discover you can get shot on Earth for that!

It picked up the Valley of the Dolls poster over my shoulder and said Barbara Perkins looks 41 - burn!

If she was thrown from the vehicle and killed, how did she get in the backseat?

Heh - I did this by accident in high school while absentmindedly figiting with a plastic 35mm film canister. Considering I was in high school and shooting 35mm, you can surmise this was quite some time ago.

If people can handle an old school text adventure, Infocom's "The Lurking Horror" is a great Lovecraftian game. It's not that hard to find around teh interwebs...

Hope he never meets a Tamarian.

I always liked Loft - that show about people trapped in a mysterious hipster residence that appears and disappears around Williamsberg....

How about Ghostbusters: Insmouth, Dunwich, and Arkham? Those are pretty spooky....

I'd think the real challenge would have been to convince Shore Leave that he had a wife and kids. No wait, wrong cartoon.
