I cried a little, thank you.

Agreed. Thankfully I live near a station with E85. Bring on the boost!!

Yeah, they're selling, I do see the appeal as an unmarked car too. I also believe the auto industry believes in the "crossover" effect. Plus Dodge has had that package in market longer than the Taurus or Caprice.

As a cop who spend a lot of his 40 hour work week in a patrol car, this isn't my experience (or anyone I work with). Capability, comfort, visibility, and carrying all my stuff trumphs looks or styling. Chargers? Visibility sucks. The Taurus isn't much better. We've switched to Explorers.

Soup + Sandwich = Soup Sandwich. That's what we've got here. A God Damned Soup Sandwich.

Right, and here in California, the drought has me thinking the same thing. Garden may not happen this year.

If your car came with a watch, which watch would it be? My Crown Vic would probably come with:

Good write-up, Stef. You are correct, violating a civil protective order is a criminal offense. While I haven't read the document myself, I've never seen a CPO contain a clause requiring the respondent to attend anger management classes or the like. That strikes me as strange.

Severely underappreciated.

First time I saw one on my local roads a few weeks back, I thought to myself, "There goes The Future." It seriously looks amazing, like a concept car from 2020. Knowing it's got the chops to back up the hot looks is such a bonus.

There's always the fact that someone under the influence of cocaine will have physiological symptoms similar to someone using alcohol. So there's the driver safety aspect, for one.

A few months back, after a feature on the 500E was posted on this site, I saw one parked in the garage where I work. Recognizing the car, I was excited! An elderly gentleman got behind the wheel, started it up, and OH GOD THAT SOUND! I thought the building was going to collapse, and I wouldn't have minded, it was

Unless Jason said it was Russian dashcam footage. Then it'd be believable.

I have as cousin from CO who calls it "pop". He's absolutely the worst.

The two Ferrari owners I know? Both F1 fans, both Ferrari fans, both livid that Ferrari isn't winning races.

As someone with a Honda Civic for sale on Craigslist, I officially protest!!

Interestingly, the felony/high-risk traffic stop has changed little in forty years. There's been some refinement, sure, but a lot of that is still applicable.

I'd say it's likely a result of the Watts (and numerous other) riots. I heard a few stories from my grandfather on the subject, who was an officer in Northern California around that time, being called to work riot lines around the Bay Area.

as I grew up, live, and work in/around that building, I've always loved it and FLW's vision for the greater fairgrounds. The library and court rooms are just exceptional. Leaky roof? Insane maintenance? Terrible functionality for government agencies trying to work inside? Who cares, it's art.

Absolutely yes! I read Excession in high school, and thoroughly enjoyed it; over a decade later, I started reading again and burned through these books, one after another, finishing just as Iain M. Banks passed away. Such a loss!
