How about we just vote to pay servers a living wage and then we can give up on this whole socially awkward tipping mess entirely. It seems a fairer solution.

“suggesting that all news these days is about “control” instead of information”
How soon is now...for Morrissey to shut the fuck up?
Man. Fuck that guy.
Yesterday the news anchor Leeann Tweeden alleged that Senator Al Franken sexually assaulted her during a USO tour in…
Isn’t that why the Flash standalone movie is going to be based on Flashpoint? So they can selectively reboot anything they want from the universe.
Flashpoint.
Yeah even within that very episode we see he bit by bit starts to come round a bit. Judging him as too pervy or whatever seems a bit too early, if the character has shown zero growth by the end of the season then it would be fine me to write him off.
Same here. I’m not sure how often he’s supposed to recur on the show, but I felt like it was pretty much inevitable that part of his “face turn” is going to be meeting Sue and being inspired to more heroic pursuits. Maybe not this season, but surely by his 4th or 5th appearance.
But isn’t this his origin as in he has room to grow and gain humility then meet his wife? Because that was my read or their interpretation of the character.
Twitter loses a lot money. It has lost billions during its decade of existence. It needs more real users and more revenue. Some are saying that the company ignored fake account to boost its numbers. Recent attention has made that much harder.
I like the 280 limit and I think the people who are being stupidly overdramatic about this being their hill to die on are wasting everyone’s time and energy. #hottake
It taught me lots of stuff, like not eating everything that smells good, because sometimes it’s a candle.
There’s soooo much territory to cover regarding the actual good place, too. I think the most interesting thing in season 2 is learning that Janet came from the good place; that she’s essentially god like in that she knows all, and can even create life (not very well yet). So maybe the “god” of the good place is just a…
I don’t really understand what you’re complaining about. The guy is British so it’s not a big surprise he likes British TV, and on top of that different people like different things, y’know, like people who prefer football to soccer. People who get upset over what other people like are annoying.

Ugh, I can’t STAND the no bars trope. Completely loses me every time, it’s such lazy writing.
My young daughter used to fire up Burnout Paradise and pretend she was dropping her kids off at school, then driving to work. She obeyed all traffic laws. It was infuriating to watch.
I know this will be a controversial opinion, but I think The Good Place is a good show. In addition, I enjoy watching it.
