The problem is that laws like these are a slippery slope and these filters do not exclusively block child porn. What will they pass next? I see your point, but one of the biggest problems I have with this law is that they are going to keep a list of people who opt-in for adult content. So while the content is indeed still available, it's certainly not available anonymously.

Do you live in America? I'm fairly certain there would be rioting in the streets if they tried to block our porn or make it less accessible in anyway.
