I think the FD’s will go down in history as cars than can take a few mods. Especially those that increase driveability. Changes in solenoids, changes in cooling... that stuff.
But fuel is better stored in the wing to reduce the wing bending moment
You also want to launch stuff at the equator to use the earth’s rotational velocity.
